Building work on Surehaven’s purpose built flagship low secure unit is nearing completion. “Its most satisfying to see the hours of detailed planning, preparation and all of the hard work of the development team coming to fruition” said Surehaven Managing Director. He went on to say “even at this stage its easy to see that the accommodation is going to be of a very high standard and will provide ideal facilities for care and therapy programmes which are going to be offered at the unit in Pembroke Dock” Recruitment for the unit has already started and so far the response has been tremendous with over 200 applicants. Over 40 permanent jobs will be created across West Wales. Once appointed all staff will receive induction and ongoing training. As the hospital is near completion local healthcare professionals, councillors and the general public will be invited to come and have a look around the unit and talk to the care team.
